Fully Comprehensive Insurance

This type of insurance (sometimes referred to by professionals as Fully Comp) offer the greatest range of cover for you and your car.

This means that they will usually cover you in the case of accidents, fire and theft. The exact details of policies do vary, so it’s always worth checking with an individual insurance provider to see exactly what’s on offer.

Many Fully Comprehensive policies also allow you to drive other vehicles, but there is usually one large caveat. What that means is that you will only be covered Third Party when driving the other vehicle. So you will have a reduced level of cover.
